Online therapy offered to anyone located in California.

For your convenience, all therapy sessions are currently being conducted via Tele-Therapy/Video using a secure, HIPAA compliant platform.

Individual Talk Therapy

Individual talk therapy may be right for you if you’re wanting to see personal healing and growth. Together, we will establish realistic and attainable goals to support lasting change. Individual talk therapy can help you build the insight and skills needed to manage life’s struggles while cultivating a more meaningful relationship with yourself.

Teen & Adolescent Talk Therapy

Teen & adolescent talk therapy may be right for you or your child if you’re between the ages of 14 and 19 and need a safe space to talk. There are things we may not feel comfortable talking about with our friends and family, and that’s okay. Therapy can be an extra support to help you through the hard times.

 Fees for Service

$180 per 50 minute session.

Sessions typically take place 2-4 times per month, depending on your needs.

How do I pay for therapy?

You may pay for therapy sessions using a major credit/debit card. You may also be able to use your Flexible Spending Account (FSA) card or Health Savings Account (HSA) card to pay for therapy services.

What if I have health insurance?

I am an Out-of-Network (OON) mental health provider, which means I do not accept health insurance. I can provide you with a monthly Superbill for your own reimbursement from insurance, typically if you have a PPO. A Superbill is a receipt of payments for therapy services, which includes a mental health diagnosis. Please see below for a list of questions to ask your insurance if you plan to utilize Out-of-Network coverage.

  1. What is my Out-of-Network coverage for mental health/behavioral health services provided through telehealth?

  2. Is there a deductible I will need to meet before accessing this Out-of-Network benefit?

  3. What is the amount of Out-of-Network reimbursement I can expect to receive for mental health/behavioral health services through telehealth?

  4. Do I need a referral or prior authorization from my doctor to use this Out-of-Network benefit?

  5. Does this Out-of-Network benefit have session limits?

Sliding Scale

Everyone should have access to therapy, regardless of their ability to pay. I reserve a small number of time slots on my schedule for sliding scale appointments due to financial hardship. If you are unable to afford the standard fee, please call (619) 800-4515 or email aubriedodgelcsw@gmail.com to discuss a fair reduced rate.

If you are in need of significantly reduced fee therapy services due to financial hardship, please consider reaching out to a therapist through OpenPathCollective.org
